I love sweets as much as anyone; however, I have not been able to enjoy them (sweet treats) for the past twenty-five years. The reason: I have been unable to find products that were not filled with chemicals and/or preservatives. I felt it was the price I have to pay if I really was determined to regain my health. It has been a successful effort. There is no comparison in my health today, given what it was in 1985. Now I find that discipline is no longer necessary since I have discovered the LARABAR. Now I can enjoy a sweet treat whenever I like.

I started Humm Foods, Inc. the maker of LARABARs, because of my firm belief that good health and well-being are derived from what you eat. At Humm Foods, we develop natural food products that enliven the body, mind and soul. Our company name comes from the ancient belief that food falls into two categories:
Beckoning Foods, which beckon consumption again and again, sapping the body of energy without any real benefits. Today, they are called "junk foods."
Humm Foods, on the other hand, resonate with energy in a whole natural state. When consumed, they cause you to feel vibrant and alive.
