Water is perhaps the most plentiful and, I believe, the least understood of all the elements on our planet.

· It cannot be compressed – this makes it the hardest of all the basic materials of life.

· It cannot be destroyed. It can be changed from a gas to a liquid, to a solid. It can be polluted with other chemicals and/or inorganic minerals.

Water can be tested to learn what chemicals/contaminates may be present or it can be cleaned by distillation to remove almost all the chemicals and contaminates..

Distillation is the process preferred by nature. This is a constant, on going process where the sun evaporates water 24/7 and draws it up into the sky to form the clouds. As the clouds fill with water, it rains. The rain, while falling back to the earth, creates a low level (.002 to .004%) of hydrogen peroxide. This concentration (H2O2 from .006 to .009%) was much higher before the beginning of the Industrial Age..

We hear from people everyday, questioning the wisdom of drinking distilled water – and when we explain these simple facts to them, they usually respond by saying; “Oh, I never thought of it in that way”.

The distilled water we use in making Wyn’s Water is distilled under very stringent guidelines - cleanliness being our number one priority. Each batch of water is tested with a Milwaukee CD-97 TDS Meter to determine the amount of total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water.

What is the purpose of measuring the TDS in the water?

Testing water can be a very expensive operation because water has the ability to dissolve almost any inorganic matter (the Grand Canyon is a good example). To keep the cost within reason, we use the TDS meter. The TDS meter will measure the total dissolved solids in parts, per million.

Almost all minerals/contaminates/chemicals act as conductors of electrical current. The TDS meter uses electrical current to measure the presence of the total dissolved solids in the water. By determining, with some accuracy, the TDS in the water, we can have some idea of how free the water is of other minerals/contaminates/chemicals.

Here on the west side of Colorado Springs, Colorado, our water usually tests between .066 and .070 TDS/PPM from the tap. Once the water has been distilled, it tests between .001 and .005 TDS (.008 TDS/PPM is the optimum concentration for making Colloidal Silver). Any time we get a batch of water that test above .006 TDS, we run it back through the distiller. This always brings the reading down to .001 or .002TDS.

I hesitate to say this is the perfect system; however, it does give us some measure of confidence when we are trying to obtain the cleanest water possible to use in our products without making the cost prohibitive.

Here are some comments from Dr. Allen E. Bank's book: "The Choice Is Clear" found on page 13.

“Only plants need inorganic mineral water as a carrier of minerals; this is fine for the plant. The plant in turn converts the inorganic into organic minerals. Now, out bodies can assimilate them. Where we run into difficulty is the fact that we have worked this process in reverse. We consume hard water saturated with calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, silicon, not realizing the body is unable to assimilate these nutrients efficiently. So nature tucks them in the joints as arthritis, in the lungs as emphysema, in the intestinal wall of the colon as constipation, and along the arteries, causing them to harden. The kidneys and liver roll up the mineral deposits into little stones until they get too large for the ducts. Sometimes the ‘filters’ of the kidneys become so mineral clogged that kidney transplants become necessary.

The Fault Lies In Inorganic Minerals:

We have never realized that these collected minerals from the air and in the ground are all inorganic minerals, which cannot be assimilated by the body unless they are chelated into organic molecules. The only minerals the body can utilize are the organic minerals. All the others are foreign minerals and must be disposed of or eliminated. Herein lies the problem we have never suspected as the possible cause of nearly all our aging diseases”.

With the importance of hydrogen peroxide gaining acceptance in the diet of many people, there are some individuals who are taking advantage of the general public's ignorance of this product to make some outrageous claims and in some cases, a quick profit. I urge you to be a knowledgeable consumer and learn all the facts concerning the proper use of hydrogen peroxide. Understand why using the wrong type or strength of hydrogen peroxide could really be harmful, and perhaps even dangerous to your health

*Hydrogen, or H2, is the lightest of all gases. Commonly found in nature in compounds with other elements, it is the most abundant element in the universe. Hydrogen is a component of water, minerals and acids, as well as an essential part of all hydrocarbons and essentially all other organic substances. In fact, 98 percent of the known universe - most notably the sun and stars - consists of hydrogen.

*Oxygen, or O forms what are called oxides, with practically all of the elements (Example; Zinc Oxide), including some of the noble gases. The rate of reaction, called oxidation, varies with different elements. Ordinary combustion, or burning, is a very rapid form of oxidation It is spontaneous combustion, the heat evolved by the oxidation reaction is sufficiently great to raise the temperature of the substance to the point where flames result.

**The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in Federal Regulation Vol. 46, Number 6, Jan 9, 1981, in effect gave the food industry a green light to use hydrogen peroxide in the "Aseptic" packaging process. The FDA has further ruled that hydrogen peroxide can be used in the processing of cheese and related cheese products (part 133), eggs and egg products (part 160), and as an anti-microbial agent in whey processing. They have also ruled it to be used in cleaning and healing mouth injuries and as a mouthwash (1% to 3% food grade H2O2).
