What facts support these suggestions?Fact: 1) Your body is designed to be active no matter what your age when you are in good health. Feeling great and having all the energy you want, plus being able to do the things you want to do always involves some sort of physical activity. That's a fact of life. How you care for your body is where choice enters the picture. One of the most important functions of a healthy body involves activity. Why? The lymph system is responsible for keeping our internal body clean. The one main functions of the lymph system is to haul out the trash everyday. And the lymph system has no pump to keep the lymph fluid moving. It depends on the expansion and contraction of muscles in each and every part of the body to do this work. If there is little or no activity, then the trash may pile up in the form of extra weight. When the trash doesn't get taken out, health and healing suffer. Fact: 2) Digesting the nutrients in the food you're eating requires enzymes. Enzymes play a role in every body function that requies energy, including such things as thinking, reading, walking, in every activity, every day.The quality of the food we eat and our bodies ability to assimilate the nutrients it contains ultimately determine the energy we will have after eating. Are the foods you eat fresh? Do they contain enzymes the body needs to break down the food you've eaten? Fact: 3) Processed foods are designed around taste. Little importance is given to digestibility or nutritive value. Many of the vitamins added to these processed foods may be in a form the body does not recognize. Isolated nutrients (vitamin supplements, etc.) that lack the enzymes needed for assimilation are of little value to the body.Fact: 4) When I started trying to change my diet, it was almost as much a struggle as when I quit smoking. This tells me I was coping with another addiction. Today, we have tools that make it much easier to break an addiction then we ever had before. Consider this; Most of the food processing industry that has developed in the past hundred years has focused on one thing. Taste! Does the item they are selling taste good? (Only a few of them give any consideration to nutrition and/or enzymes.) What people want is for their food to taste good. the problem with this standard is the fact that taste can be a learned esperience. It's possible your sense of taste has nothing to do with proper nutrition. This mode of thinking about food is what has gotten us where we are today, a nation overweight (65% of Americans are said to be overweight), and in somewhat questionable physical condition. To help you learn more about the facts concerning foods and supplements, we have products and information that can help you. I suggest you cconsider adding supplements like Acidophilus and Food Enzymes to your diet. There are raw, cultured vegetables you can prepare at little cost to add to your salad and they supply a lot of enzymes. An even better approach is to use colon hydrotherapy.
