Caprylic Acid Can Win Against Candida!

This medium chain fatty acid, also called octanoic acid is found naturally in coconut oil, palm oil, and butter fat as well as in human breast milk. It is known to have anti-fungal as well as some anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.

Some M.D.'s argue that the anti-fungal properties have only been proven in vitro – that is, in an artificial laboratory environment – but there is “no significant clinical evidence” to support its use against candida or yeast infection.

Many nutritionists and natural health practitioners (myself included), however, have reported excellent results with Caprylic / octanoic acid for the treatment of candidiasis.

It is important to note that taking Caprylic Acid and not making any changes in your diet is probably not going to be very effective. Candida in a persistent pathogen and must be denied its principal food source which is simple sugar such as found in almost all processed foods (even if they are being sold in a “health food store”). .

I grew up with candida and coped with the complications it brought during most of my younger years before I discovered the truth about this parasite.
